BAAC accelerates study of "debt reduction"

The Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives is expediting legal review to push for the establishment of an AMC before implementing a "debt write-off" measure for 10,000 elderly farmers. A conclusion is expected within this year. Initially, the resolution of this farmer debt problem will be handled through the Asset Management Company (AMC) mechanism.
